  1. What a great looking dog. I can’t understand why no one wanted him for five years. I guess people are afraid of pit bulls. Maybe some gang banger types wanted to adopt him, but the shelter wouldn’t approve. From what I understand, they would have checked out Chester’s new family very carefully, including a home visit, before placing him.

    And to think, America, there are tens of thousands more just as sweet as Chester needing a home.

    The “dog lady” where I live has made space for 40 pooches who would be dead otherwise. Yes, they chew up her furniture so she buys it at thrift stores. And yes they tear up the blankets I find and give to her. But the love makes it all worthwhile.
