Adopt a Dog from NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue

NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, whose mission is to rescue and place adoptable Golden Retrievers in Northern California in safe, loving homes; thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoption household.

Here’s just a few of the dogs currently up for adoption: Meet ‘Lewis TWJ’

Lewis TWJ #44185

Lewis TWJ is a big loving Teddy Bear about 6 years old.  Lewis came from Taiwan in April and has been living in Lodi.  Living the life of lots of love and play.  Lewis LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to play ball.  His new family must be willing to play ball with him.  That is one of his biggest requests for his adoptive family. Picture this ….. A crouching tiger with a stance ready to pounce.  Do you have that in your mind?  Ok ready set go.  There goes a ball flying in the air, there it goes flying, flying, and Lewis has it.  This is the game Lewis can play forever.  He loves to play ball and this is how he plays.  “The Crouching Tiger Game.”  Now Lewis also loves to literally submerge himself completely into his very own hard plastic swimming pool. Lewis is a character, a bundle of fun and more fun; a good boy.  He can’t get enough of your attention. He wants to be your best friend forever.  Lewis will be very happy to be the only dog so he can have all of you.  You can show him new tricks and he may even teach you some new things.  He is up for just about anything you want to do.  If he has to share you, it would have to be a girlfriend that isn’t very bossy.  If you think that Lewis may be interested in adopting you, please contact NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue.

There is something about street dogs, about rescues; they have this knowing sense about them.
